An anti-terrorism court in Islamabad combined the bail petitions of Imran and Shah Mahmoon Qureshi in vandalism cases and adjourned hearing till November 14.

Judge Abu Alhasnaat Zulqurnain heard the petitions on Monday where the prosecutor did not appear because of being on holiday.

A total of three petitions have been filed by Khan and another by Qureshi seeking bail in cases of violent protest and vandalism on May 9.

The petitioner’s lawyer argued that the co-accused in the case have already been granted bail but the two politicians have still not been granted relief.

Judge Zulqurnain ordered that the four petitions would be combined and would be heard in Adiala Jail where Khan and Qureshi are incarcerated. The judge adjourned proceedings till November 14.

Islamabad High Court had ordered that the bail petitions should be restored and heard by the trial court.
