Bangladesh won the toss and elected to field against England in the seventh match of the World Cup at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala on Tuesday.

The match will start at 10:00am Pakistan Standard Time.

Bangladesh won their first match against Afghanistan while England were defeated by New Zealand in the opener of the tournament on October 5, in Ahmedabad.

The pitch is likely to be hard to start for batting, but will get better as the day progresses. Fast bowlers are likely to get assistance early on, but it will be less in speed, ESPNcricinfo reported.

It is pertinent to mention that England skipper Jos Buttler described the Dharamsala outfield as “poor” and questioned the venue’s fitness to host a World Cup fixture.

Buttle urged his team players to be careful when diving in the deep against Bangladesh.

Despite its patchy appearance and sandy base, the outfield was rated “average” by the match officials for Bangladesh’s six-wicket win over Afghanistan.
