Leopard that injured two people in Parachinar market taken to Peshawar
A leopard that brought panic after entering a market in Parachinar on Sunday has been shifted to Peshawar.
Wildlife officials confirmed that the leopard had been taken to the Peshawar Zoo.
The leopard had injured two people before hiding in a shop in Parachinar, in Kurram on Sunday.
Officials had to unddertake a difficult and dangerous operation to safely remove the leopard from the market and away from the public.

Leopards are known to make appearances now and then in areas near mountains. Wildlife officials say that destruction and encroachment of habitat often force these wild cats to move towards human settlements to find food.
