SC practice and procedure bill to be taken up after new CJ takes oath
The case has been fixed for September 18
The Supreme Court Practice and Procedures bill will once again be taken up by the country’s top court after Qazi Faez Isa takes oath as chief justice.
The case has been fixed for hearing on September 18.
An eight-member larger bench of the court had stopped the bill from taking effect. However, Justice Isa is expected to constitute a full-court bench to hear the case.
More to come.
