Another terrorist attack was foiled in Peshawar late on Thursday night.

Sarband Riaz Shaheed check post was attacked by terrorists. However, a strong a timely response caused them to escape immediately.

SHO Kaleem said that the police were alreted to the approach of the terrorists via CCTV video. After tracing the terrorists, police wer able to effectively counter them leading to no damage being done.

The attack came shortly after a police compound was attacked in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa leading to four police officials being martyred and eight injured.

The attack on the police compound was the fourth inside 48 hours in the province.
