Faiz Hameed’s brother robbed of over Rs10 million
Najaf Hameed, brother of former DG-ISI Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed, has filed a complaint saying his house was robbed of valuables in his absence.
In an FIR filed at Chakwal’s Neela police station, Hameed alleged that he went to Lahore for surgery but returned to his house in Lateefal village of Chakwal to find that Rs10 million were missing from his safe and another Rs700,000 were missing from his briefcase. He also said that an iPhone 13 phone was stolen.
The FIR says that the robbery happened in April this year.
Hameed has pinned the blame on two servants working in his house that he claims had been entrusted with the running of the entire house. The two have been named as Musmyan Ashiq Hussain of Layyah and Maqsood Ahmad of Chakwal.
He has also claimed that he is pinning the blame on the two servants after making inquiries with everyone in the household. He has requested the police to apprehend the two men.
Najaf Hameed worked as a naib tehsildar in Chakwal but was removed earlier this year. His brother, Faiz, retired from the army after General Asim Munir became army chief late last year.
