Journalist Syed Muhammad Askari returns home
He was 'picked up' by armed men on Sunday
Journalist Syed Muhammad Askari who was taken away by uniformed men on Sunday returned home safely on Monday.
Askari, who works for the daily Jang as an education reporter, was picked from the Qayumabad interchange on Sunday morning.
When friends and relatives had approached Zaman Town police station, officials had denied any knowledge of his abduction.
Media associations and relatives had demanded that Askari be recovered and sent home immediately.
