Three soldiers martyred in North Waziristan suicide attack
Three security personnel were martyred while three civilians were critically injured after a vehicle borne suicide bomber exploded himself in Miran Shah, North Waziristan District, a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations said.
The suicide bomber intended targeting the security forces’ post, however, timely interception of the suicide bomber on suspicion by on-duty soldiers prevented a major catastrophe, it added.
Naib Subedar Sahib Khan from Mianwali, Naik Muhammad Ibrahim from Dera Ismail Khan and Sepoy Jehangir Khan from Mardan embraced shahadat, while three civilians got critically injured.
“Security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve,” the military’s media wing stated.
