Muslims in many parts of the world, including Gulf countries and Europe, celebrated Eid ul Azha on Wednesday with traditional festivities.

Meanwhile, pilgrims performing Hajj will perform rami today, the ritual that marks stoning of the devil. They will then offer sacrifice, men will shave their heads while women will clip a lock of hair and then remove their ihram.

They will then circle the Kaaba and perform sa’i at Safa Marwah in normal clothes. They will then return to Mina.

Hundreds of worshippers offered Eid prayers in mosques across Saudi Arabia after which they turned to shops selling traditional sweets, cakes and chocolates.

Pakistan is set to celbrate Eid ul Azha on June 29.
