Case lodged against firing on Latif Khosa’s house

A case has been registered at Defence A police station again unidentified miscreants, who opened fire at PPP leader Sardar Latif Khosa’s house in Lahore.

The gun attack took place in the early hours of Friday where the driver of the PPP leader got injured.

The case was registered on the complaint of ASI Niaz Ahmed, as police launched an investigation into the firing incident.

Police receive photos of suspects from cameras installed around the house.

As many as four suspects are said to be involved in the attack, police sources said. Two of the attackers were bike-borne and two were pedestrians.

Police also received a photograph of the accused passing through the DHA checkpoint.

“Shots were fired at my house, injuring my driver. Unknown men fired shots and fled,” the former Punjab Governor had said. “I was listening to a client’s case at my home. I heard shots, my driver came inside and said that he has been hit by a shot.”

“When I went outside, I saw [bullet] holes in the gate. A bullet also hit my car. The shots were fired from a Kalashnikov.”
