PAKPATTAN: A video of a couple’s wedding photo shoot has gone viral due to the location of where it was filmed. The couple can be seen having a photo shoot in the courtyard of the shrine of Baba Fariduddin Masoodganj Shakar in Pakpattan, Punjab.

Sources said that the photo shoot continued for about an hour on the shrine premises. Punjab Auqaf and Religious Affairs Department was not aware of the photoshoot taking place.

A case has been registered against the six people including the cameraman, bride and groom.Auqaf and Religious Affairs have suspended a caretaker at the shrine.

According to a police spokesman, three policemen, including a police inspector, have been suspended for negligence.

The video caused anger amongst religious circles. Social media users also criticized the couple.

Pakpattan district police officer said that action will be taken against those involved. Police is using CCTV footage to help indentify the people invloved in the shoot.
