Four injured in explosion at Peshawar restaurant
An explosion has been reported at a restaurant in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Four passersby were injured in the explosion which was believed to be caused by a gas leak at around 2pm, Aaj News reported.
Initial reports suggest some damage was also caused to the restaurant.
A short video clip obtained by Aaj News showed the entire front of the Downtown Bistro restaurant in shambles.
The restaurant is located on GT Road near the historic Gora Qabristan or Christian cemetery.
A bomb disposal squad and other police teams arrived at the hotel immediately after the blast.
Police were trying to determine the nature of the explosion.
