Another rape case reported in Islamabad
A woman was allegedly raped in Islamabad’s Sector F-11 area on the pretext of a job, said a first information report (FIR), the second such incident reported in more than two weeks in the federal capital.
The survivor has registered at the Shalimar Police Station. The complainant met the accused named Amjad and Aamir through her friend a year ago.
She had contacted the accused when her job was terminated eight days ago, the complaint said as both had offered the woman a job in a friend’s company in the past well.
“Amjad asked the woman to come to F-11 Park of Islamabad on February 18, 2023. The woman arrived at the park at 6:30pm. The accused made her sit in their black car and drove around. Amidst this, Aamir started doing inappropriate things to the woman. The accused got angry on being denied and said that jobs are not available like this,” it said.
The survivor said shouted to get her out of the car, said the FIR. “Amjad Khan diverted the vehicle towards the back side of the flats in front of the F11 centre and threatened that fulfil our desire in silence,” it said, alleging that when the survivor shouted accused Amjad took out the revolver and threatened to kill her if she shouted.
“I got scared, after which both took turns to abuse me and escaped after leaving her near the F10 the roundabout. There I called my aunt and she asked me to inform the police immediately,” it said.
She demanded that legal action should be taken against both the accused.
