Three soldiers martyred in gunfight with terrorists in Khurram district

ISPR says two terrorists are also killed who remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces

ISLAMABAD: Two terrorists were killed and three Pakistan Army soldiers were martyred in an exchange of fire with the security forces in Arawali area of Kurram District on Thursday, the military’s media wing said in a statement.

“Naik Muhammad Ramzan (age 32 years, resident of Khuzdar) and Sepoy Abdul Rehman (age 30 years, resident of Sukkur) having fought gallantly, embraced Shahadat,” the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said and added that the troops fought bravely and effectively engaged the terrorists’ location.

Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists.

The statement said that the killed terrorists remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces. Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area, it added.

“Pakistan Army is determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of brave soldiers have further strengthened resolve the force.”
