A local court has ordered that the bailiff supervise the handing over of the dowry by actor Feroze Khan to his ex-wife Alizeh Sultan.

The celebrity couple divorced earlier this year, which has been followed by an acrimonious court case in which Sultan presented evidence of domestic abuse.

Currently, the two are involved in a court case over Feroze’s visitation rights as well as child support. The former couple have two small children.

As per details, the dowry includes a television set, a split, coffee set, iron, steel utensils, hot pot, three coolers and other items.

According to the report submitted in the court, valuables including gold jewelry at in a safety deposit box of a local bank, with Feroze having access to it. The girl’s family had given a watch and two gold items to Feroze’s mother as well.

Earlier, a video of Feroze Khan and Alize Sultan’s lawyers talking to the media went viral on social media, in which Feroze Khan’s lawyer said that the actor has offered to settle the matter out of court. Then the case can be over in a couple of hearings.

Meanwhile, Alizeh’s lawyer contended that the children weren’t going to school as they were studying at a school as the father wasn’t paying for their admission in a nearby school. The children are enrolled in a school in a different area which is very far from Alizeh’s current residence.

Some in the media industry have continued to express support for Feroze Khan even as his ex-wife presented evidence of domestic abuse in court. This is despite many actors and celebrities endorsing Alizeh’s allegation of domestic violence against her ex-husband.

However, not many were able to defend Feroze’s latest action in which he can be seen driving while his son is on his lap.

Shanira Akram, the Australian-born activist and wife of cricket legend Wasim Akram, shared a screenshot of the image uploaded by Feroze’s sister, the actor Humaima Malik, on her Instagram.

She highlighted the dangers of such a move as she tried to understand what would compel a father to unnecessarily endanger their child in such a manner.

She pointed out that this was doubly irresponsible as Feroze was in the public eye due to his status as a celebrity.
