It was a dramatic last over where all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz got Hardik Pandya out on the first delivery of the last over. But, then the incoming batter Dinesh Karthik rotated the strike the brought Kohli on the strike who hit six on a “no-ball” and made it easy for India.

‘Great feeling’

“It is a great feeling, good to see everyone here, hope we would provide entertainment to everyone,” Indian skipper Rhot Sharma said after winning the toss.

“It looks like a good pitch, there is grass covering. It might swing also. Our preparation is good, we have been there for some time and have prepared well,” he said in response to commentator Ravi Shastri’s query.

‘Will try to score 160 to 170’

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam said that he would have also bowled first if he had won the toss.

“We will try to score 160- 170. We are very prepared well, We have played tri-series in New Zealand, which is a similar condition to Australia. We had England series at home and then tri-series, so we have played a lot,” he said.
