A video of the faulty escalator at Karachi’s Ocean Mall was making rounds on social media on Tuesday. In the video, it could be seen that a security guard asked the person to stop making the video of the escalator.

This is the second time since the April incident when a three-year-old boy got injured after getting stuck in a malfunctioning escalator.

The child’s mother had said that they were riding the escalator up from the second floor to the third floor when the child’s foot got stuck in the escalator severely damaging his leg.

Media reports said that the parents of the child were receiving threats after a case was registered against the Ocean Mall management on their complaint.
