Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari has announced the name of her second child on Twitter. The baby boy, who was born on October 5, is named Mir Sijawal Mahmood Choudhry.

“Named by and after his Nana Baba: Sij is Sindhi for sun Sijawal means the rising sun,” she said in a series of tweets.

Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari is the eldest child of former president Asif Ali Zardari and late prime minister Benazir Bhutto.

“In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. May this name be a blessing to him and bring him good health and fortune. O Allah, make him a child of compassion and love. Guide him on the path of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and spread his light of wisdom and benevolence in this world,” she said.

Bakhtawar and Mahmood Chaudhry got married in January 2021at Bilawal House in Karachi.

Her first child with husband Mahmood Choudhry, Mir Hakim, was born on October 10, 2021.
