Street robbers killed a young man and wounded another two people early Thursday morning in Karachi in separate incidents.

Police said in all three incidents the victims had tried to resist the robbery bids.

Bilal, 20, was killed on the Norther Bypass near Gulshan-e-Maymar.

Earlier, Haider Ali was shot and wounded in the Manghopir area and Abbas, 22, in the Ilyas Goth area of Korangi.

The violence is the latest amid rising street crime in the city.

Meanwhile, the police have arrested a robber in Korangi after raiding a location, following an intelligence tip-off.

A weapon, bullets, and two mobile phones snatched from people were recovered from the suspect.
