A nurse was found dead under mysterious circumstances at the nursing hostel of Lahore’s Services Hospital.

The administration of the hospital told police that injections were found near the body of the 33-year-old nurse. Police have taken the body into custody and collected all the evidence, with the initial report suggesting drug overdose as the cause of death.

The Gujranwala resident was working in the neurology department of the hospital. Her family has been informed of the situation.

The Punjab chief minister has taken notice of the incident and sought a report from the Lahore police chief.
