KARACHI: The Sindh government has made the data system of all the universities, boards and institutes across the Sindh province online.

In this regard, a meeting on universities and boards was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Universities Minister Ismail Rahoo, in which Secretary Universities and Boards Sindh Muhammad Mureed Rahmon and other officers participated.

Rahmon while briefing Rahoo said that the system of universities and boards had been made online, and the web of teachers, employees and students would be available on the portal. Correspondence from all universities and boards is also possible through the portal. The Chief Minister of Sindh and the Chief Secretary will have direct access to the portal.

Rahoo said that by Tuesday, the data of all the universities, boards and STEVTA across the province would be available on the portal. The data of the first five years would be made online in this system.

Records of employees, officers and budgets of all universities and boards will also be available on the portal. Rahoo said that records of students enrolled in all universities and boards would also be available, records of students from all over the province up to matriculation and PhD would be available on the portal, while the secretary of universities will monitor this portal.
