The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) on Friday approved Rs5.27 per unit increase in tariff for April under monthly fuel cost adjustment (FCA) for consumers of K-Electric.

After this increase in the tariff, price of one unit has soared to Rs30.09 (previous was Rs24.82).

The KE had requested FCA of Rs5.307/kWh having an impact of Rs10,216 million, said a notification issued here.
