Bollywood veteran actor Shakti Kapoor’s son, actor Siddhanth Kapoor was reportedly arrested in Bengaluru after he failed a drug test. The senior Kapoor was in Mumbai at the time of the arrest and claimed he only found out from news channels.

Siddhanth has not been arrested and only detained, Shakti clarified while also admitting that he does not really know what happened.

The Bengaluru Police raided a rave, where Siddhanth was also found, allegedly consuming drugs. He was given a drug test, which he failed.

Siddhant is a DJ and regularly plays at parties, the one in Bengaluru being one of them.

The senior actor refused to believe the reports and said he will talk to his son soon. “I don’t know where all these reports are coming from,” the senior actor told Hindustan Times.

The Kapoor siblings are no stranger to controversy, Shakti Kapoor’s daughter Shraddha Kapoor was called in by the Narcotic Control Bureau in connection with a drug case as part of the investigation into Sushant Singh Rajpur’s death.
