Not foreign conspiracy but PTI MNAs sent Imran Khan packing, says Maryam Nawaz
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz on Wednesday said that not a foreign conspiracy but PTI members of the National Assembly had sent the former prime minister Imran Khan packing.
Addressing a public gathering in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Sawabi district, Maryam said that the issue of foreign conspiracy was an "excuse to cover his government's lack of performance during the past four years."
Maryam said that the nation would not let Imran hide behind his conspiracy claims, adding that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would vote for PML-N and rid the province of Imran Khan in the next elections.
She claimed that Imran Khan was a complete failure when it came to detailing his party's performance during his rule, adding that Imran Khan destroyed Pakistan's economy.
"Economically, Pakistan is not only in ICU but on the ventilator," she said, adding that it would take two to three years for the incumbent government to undo what Imran did during his rule.
PML-N gathering schedule
