Prime Minister Imran Khan’s ex-wife Reham Khan was bashed by social media users for her “uncalled for” comment about Pakistani actors receiving “heavy investments for their film projects” for showing support for the PM on social media.

After the joint opposition submitted the no-confidence motion against the premier in the National Assembly on March 8, many celebrities including Saba Qamar, Mahira Khan, Ahmed Ali Butt, Adnan Siddiqui, and Haroon Shahid among others had voiced their support for the PM on their social media platforms.

“Pakistan needs Imran Khan at least for the next 10 years!!” said singer Bilal Maqsood in a tweet.

Responding to the outpour of love and support for the PM, Reham tweeted, "All these actors giving endorsements to the Kupitaan had better get heavy investments for their film projects.”

Her comment irked many, the most notable reaction came from actor Muneeb Butt who dubbed Reham a “graceless ex.”

Many social media users followed suit and called her “toxic.”

Rehamn's comment inspired new film titles.

One user said they feel “more proud of Imran Khan for never saying a single bad word” regarding Khan every time she takes a jab at him.
