Israel’s military said it had killed more than 40 Hezbollah fighters over the past 24 hours during coordinated operations across air, land and sea.

In its latest update, the military said it carried out air strikes on dozens of Hezbollah targets, including weapons depots, launch sites and other infrastructure.

Ground forces operating in parts of southern Lebanon also identified and “eliminated” a Hezbollah cell while targeting additional positions, it said.

The navy separately struck a weapons depot in southern Lebanon, according to the statement.
