Fire broke out in ammunition shed near Sialkot garrison, says ISPR
The accidental fire broke out in ammunition shed near Sialkot garrison because of short-circuiting, the Inter-Services Public Relations said in a statement on Sunday.
“Due to effective and timely response, the damages were immediately contained and fire has been extinguished. No damage to property or loss of life, the armed forces media wing said.
Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid was also asked a question about the incident and the Indian media reports. Rashid said that it was the ISPR’s domain to comment on the incident. “There was a short circuit in an arms depot,” he said and reiterated that it was the armed forces' job to comment on it.
