Following makeup artist Omayr Waqar, stylist Aneela Murtaza has served actor Sana Javed a legal notice of her own denying all allegations of defamation and accusing Javed of “seeking publicity.” Murtaza shared a picture of the notice on her Instagram profile on Wednesday.

The move by Murtaza comes after Javed had sent legal notices to her, Waqar and Model Manal Saleem accusing them of launching a “proper smear campaign” against her last week.

“Responding to something completely unnecessary,” Murtaza wrote in the caption of her post.

Her post received a clapping emoji from Waqar in the comments section. The makeup artist has served a legal notice of his own to Javed earlier this week.

In the notice to the actor’s legal team, Murtaza’s legal team denied the contents of the former’s notice as “concocted, unsubstantiated and fallacious.”

The letter asserted that Murtaza doesn’t have any kind of relationship with Saleem, who was the first person to call out Javed on her bad behavior and work ethic.

“Our client has at no point in time ever had any relationship of whatsoever nature with Ms Manal Saleem, not of any sort of friendship, nor as rivals, you state to be colluded against you. To clarify further, our client has no nexus of whatsoever nature with Ms Saleem,” read the notice.

The notice also stated that Murtaza never made any kind of oral or written statement about Javed. “Further, please note that as per Section 3 of the Defamation Ordinance, 2002, in order to constitute the legal wrong of defamation, you need to prove that the statements were made by our client about your client. However, you have no proof as our client never made any defamatory statements,” it added.
