PTI-led govt brought destruction in the name of change: Bilawal
Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday said that inflation was rising due to the incompetency of the current government, adding that the deal struck by the government with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) was in fact anti-poor.
Addressing a public rally in Sargodha, Bilawal alleges that instead of tabdeeli (change) in the country the PTI-led government is bringing destruction.
PPP chairman said that the incumbent government had broken all records of negative growth, inflation, and increase in poverty and unemployment rates.
Bilawal said that on February 27, PPP will march from Karachi to Islamabad and will make sure their demands are met and selected rulers are sent packing.
"After reaching Islamabad we will place our demands before the government and the world," he added.
He further said that the government was also attacking democratic, human and economic rights of the people.
He said that PTI government had promised to provide 10 million jobs and 5 million homes to the people but since coming to power the people have been rendered jobless instead.
He said that PM Khan had promised to reduce corruption in the country but now even Transparency International had certified that record corruption had taken place under the very nose of Imran Khan.
