Fashion designer Hassan Sheheryar Yasin, who goes by his initials HSY, took to Instagram to announce that fittings for PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz’s son Junaid Safdar's wedding festivities were a "pleasure to do".

The post put to rest speculations around the young groom's designer choice for his wedding and valima on December 14 and 17 respectively.

“We created looks that are both classic and timeless using materials that are all proudly made in Pakistan. I found him to be incredibly polite and well mannered and all of us at HSY wish him and his wife all the very best for the future,” wrote HSY.

A nikkah ceremony was held for Junaid and Ayesha Saif Khan in August this year at The Lanesborough, in London. Both Maryam Nawaz and Captain Safdar did not attend the event.

The groom also posted pictures with the designer on his Instagram story.

Social media users are soaking in all the updates and it isn't just Junaid's upcoming wedding that is causing the hype. Videos of Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Shehbaz singing away to celebrate the marriage have also spread like wildfire.

And Twitter is here for it.

Most people are all praise for the cute moments emerging from the wedding festivities.

Most, we said! The Nawaz family’s private moments have also drawn ire from many on social media, including accusing Maryam Nawaz of severely editing the picture HSY posted.

While others were just plain mean.

Some chose badly timed pictures and shamed her for her poise.

And others decided to attack her for simply dressing up for her son's wedding.

In the wake of all the scrutiny and personal comments, Maryam took to Twitter to ask people to refrain from invading the family's privacy.
