ISLAMABAD – PPP co-chairperson Asif Zardari has predicted Prime Minister Imran Khan's government will not complete its tenure.

He was replying to journalists after an appearance in accountability court on Tuesday when he said those who brought Imran Khan to power now realized their their mistake.

"Allah Almighty knows better how will they fix their mistake?" he said.

About the affidavit of the Gilgit Baltistan former chief justice, Zardari said they had already seen this happen before.

"Justice Qayyum had a video tape of Saifur Rehman and some friends," he added.

On the question of Maryam Nawaz's petition, Zardari said he will not reply to this because "Maryam Nawaz is like a daughter to me."

Islamabad High Court was hearing National Accountability Bureau's appeal against Zardari's gold reference and Ursus tractors deal.

The NAB prosecutor asked for a month to prepare his arguments on his appeals pending since 2014.

The IHC approved a two-week deadline for the NAB prosecutor to finalise his arguments, saying that if it failed to present arguments in that time, then the court will decide based on all the informaiton it has available at the time.
