ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz has said that reconciliation should not even be discussed with the incumbent government.

Talking to media outside the Islamabad High Court, PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz said that the government has made the country miserable, reconciliation is not possible in the current situation and I am not in favor of talking to the government.

Maryam Nawaz said that everything the government is doing is in front of the nation while Shahbaz Sharif spoke not of the national government but of national reconciliation,

She said that the three year performance of the government was nothing but destruction.

The PML-N vice-president said that unemployment had risen due to incompetence of the government.

Maryam said that all parties needed to unite against the government, adding that the government was creating hurdles for the media and Opposition and the PMDA bill was aimed at censoring the media.

PML-N vice president said that never in the history of the country has such an incompetent government come, the government is afraid of those who speak the truth and in three and a half years no one heard the good news? The government has to regulate the media but not to correct the movements, silencing the media will not make any difference.

Maryam Nawaz said that PTI has an illegitimate and incompetent government in the country but the government cares only about how to harass the opposition.

PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz further said that Nawaz Sharif has been facing political revenge for 3 years. Nawaz Sharif has been imprisoned in false cases. Nawaz Sharif will return to the country when it is necessary for him to do so, she added.

Regarding the marriage of her son Junaid Safdar, Maryam Nawaz said that she has only one son for whose marriage she did not seek permission from the government.
