Lahore’s Metro bus drivers continue protest against non-payment of salaries
The suspension of Lahore’s Metro bus service entered its fifth day as drivers on Friday continued to protest the non-payment of their salaries.
Commuters faced difficulties due to the suspension of the bus service and urged the government officials to look into a resolution.
While talking to Aaj News, the protesting drivers said the Punjab government had not paid their dues and they weren't get salaries on time.
“Our contract is about to end in few days, however, so far no official has contacted us for the discussion on dues,” said one of the protesting drivers.
He further said the government didn’t offer gratuity to them.
