Sindh announces to reopen schools across the province from August 23
KARACHI: The Sindh government on Tuesday has announced to reopen schools across the province on Monday, August 23.
The decision was announced after the Sindh Education Department's steering committee meeting that convened to discuss the situation.
Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah said that the decision had been taken to open schools from Monday to continue the education journey of children.
He said that the schools will reopen with only 50% of students in attendance.
Only those institutions that assure 100% vaccination of their teaching staff by Monday would be permitted to open with 100% student strength, Shah added.
