Pakistan records under 1,000 Covid cases for first time in week
Pakistan's daily coronavirus case fell to below 1,000 cases after nearly a week with 830 new cases reported for Tuesday morning.
Since July 1, Pakistan was reporting over a 1,000 cases.
The death toll reported by NCOC on Tuesday was 25 which brings the national death tally to 22,452.
The statistics also show a drop in the positivity rate from nearly 3% to 2.22%.
According to NCOC's figures, the total number of cases has reached 964,490. At least 908,648 people have recovered so far across Pakistan.
The total cases reported in Sindh so far are 341,275, in Punjab 347,014, in Khyber Paktunkhwa 138,616, in Islamabad Capital Territory 83,048, in Balochistan 27,445, in Gilgit-Baltistan 6,504 and in Azad Jammu and Kashmir 20,588.

Pakistan's vaccination drive has been described as slow given its total population.
In Monday's press conference, head of the NCOC Asad Umar warned of serious consequences to those flouting SOPs in light of relaxation of curbs. He said people must adhere to safety protocols at restaurants, in-door gymnasiums, marriage halls, transportation, markets and tourist spots.
