PM Khan addresses nation after Senate elections
Prime Minister Imran Khan today (Thursday) is addressing the nation after Yesterday's upset in Senate elections.
The address came a day after PTI's Hafeez Sheikh faced defeat at the hands of the Pakistan Democratic Movement's joint candidate Syed Yusuf Raza Gillani. The premier started his address by saying that he wishes to talk about what happened in the Senate elections.
"This is important because what problems our nation suffers from stem from the very situation that unfolded yesterday," Khan said while alleging that Yusuf Raza Gillani's win is a result of horse-trading.
The prime minister said, "if you understand this Senate election, you will understand what ails this country".
