PSL Season 6 postponed amid coronavirus spread
The Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season Six was postponed on Thursday amid a surge in coronavirus cases among players and officials, Aaj News reported.
According to details, the tournament will be rescheduled, however, no dates have been provided yet.
PSL management was considering the option of playing the entire tournament in Karachi instead of moving for the final leg to Lahore as scheduled, from March 10, but now it has been decided to postpone the whole event.
Earlier today, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed three more players from two different teams of Pakistan Super League (PSL) tested positive for Covid-19 and they will now self-isolate for 10 days.
According to a press statement issued by PCB, the three players were not part of the sides that featured in PSL sixth edition, and had been tested in the afternoon after showing symptoms.
