The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday has taken notice of the PPP leader and son of former prime minister Yusuf Raza Gillani, Ali Haider Gillani's viral video.

According to the details, the spokesperson for the commission said that ECP would conduct through and on merit investigation of the incident.

Earlier today, footage of Ali Gillani allegedly meeting with four PTI members and asking them to sell or waste their votes went viral on social media.

Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhary said that PTI welcomes ECP's decision to investigate Ali Gillani's video. PTI will file a disqualification reference against the lawmaker, he added.
