In Pakistan, as per the daily reports provided by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 1,541 new coronavirus cases were documented in the last 24 hours. While 32 people succumbed to the flu bug.

According to the latest statistics, there are currently 1,558 COVID-19 patients admitted in various corona hospitals across the country who are critically ill.

• Yesterday, 41,849 coronavirus tests were conducted in the country out of which 1,541 returned positive. This means the positivity rate remained 3.6%.

• The number of active cases has shrunken to 23,281.

Total cases have reached 577,482 and total COVID-related casualties have exceeded 12,800.

As 2,502 patients in Pakistan successfully defeated the deadly disease in the past 24 hours, the total recoveries have reached 542,393.
