The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has extended the date of filing nomination papers for Senate elections to February 15 Aaj News reported.

Earlier, the ECP gave two days, February 12 and 13, to candidates for filing nomination papers. But, the Commission on Saturday extended the date of filing nomination papers by two days. Earlier, the list of the Senate candidates was due to be issued on February 14.

On Thursday last, the ECP had announced the schedule for holding the Senate elections, according to which, the polling for the Senate elections will be held on March 3.
