At least two dead, three injured in Quetta blast

At least two people were killed while three others sustained injuries in an explosion on Anscomb Road in Quetta on Friday. The explosion took place outside of the deputy commissioner's (DC) office.

According to hospital sources, one of the injured brought to the hospital is critical.

According to the details, the blast took place inside a truck parker near the DC office. The Bomb Disposal Squad and police have curtained off the area.

The Nation, while quoting a Bomb Disposal Squad official at the scene, reported that a Kashmir Day rally of a religious group near the explosion site could be the target of the blast.

The bomb was timed and exploded just before the rally reached the site.
