PML-N workers clash with police in front of the NAB court
1 min readWorkers of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) on Saturday clashed with police personnel after being denied entry to the accountability court’s premises upon arrival of Maryam Nawaz, local media reported.
According to the details, PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz arrived in the accountability court, while the hearing of the money laundering case was underway, to meet Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz.
A large number of political workers also gathered outside the court building and tried to enter the premises. However, security personnel on the guard resisted the attempt and thus clashes erupted.
Police officials called for backup and more contingents and water cannon to the scene citing the rising tensions outside the court.
