PM Khan gets briefing on Machh tragedy, Balochistan security
Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday met Balochistan's top officials including Governor Balochistan Amanullah Khan Yasinzai and Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan in Quetta. During the meeting, he was briefed about the Machh incident and the overall security situation in the province.
The meeting was attended by federal ministers including Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, Syed Ali Zaidi, Ali Amin Gandapur, special assistant Zulfiqar Bukhari and Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri. Provincial authorities including provincial Interior Minister Ziaullah Lango, Inspector General of Police Balochistan Mohsin Hassan Butt, Chief Secretary Capt (Retd) Fazeel Asghar were also present in the meeting.
Commander of Southern Command Lt General Sarfaraz Ali was also present during the meeting and brief the premier about the security situation in Balochistan.
The prime minister had arrived in Quetta earlier today and met with the bereaved families of victims of Macch massacre. The meeting took place at Sardar Bahadur Khan Women's University in Quetta.
