Pakistan has reported over 2,000 new coronavirus cases for the tenth straight day. In the last 10 days, almost 24,000 new cases have been reported in Pakistan.

• In the last 24 hours, 2,665 new cases were reported in the country which takes the national coronavirus tally to 374,173. It's the highest single-day tally in over four months.

Pakistan has been seeing a serious surge in new coronavirus cases for the past couple of weeks. The number of active cases has exceeded 36,000 in the country. Also, the more concerning fact is that casualties are increasing every day. Yesterday, 59 people succumbed to the viral disease. It's the highest Covid death tally in several weeks.
