Russian forces arrive in Pakistan for joint military drills
RAWALPINDI: Russian Federation Special Forces’ contingent arrived in Pakistan for 2 Weeks long Druzhba exercises.
According to the ISPR, the exercise is aimed at sharing both armies experiences in counter terrorism domain.
Russia has spent nearly a month preparing for the Druzhba (Friendship) exercises, which include reconnaissance, search and ambush actions, camouflage and covert movement on terrain as well as the arrangement of long-term observation posts and survival in isolation from the main forces.
The exercises, which will last until Nov 21, have been held since 2016.
