The Flour Mills Association on Wednesday has announced to increased the price of flour by Rs 6 per kg in Karachi.

On Wednesday, the flour prices were raised by Rs6 per kg in Karachi. The new rate of 10kg flour bag has been fixed at Rs545 from its previous level of Rs485 while the price of 10kg whole wheat flour has been increased to Rs620.

Shopkeepers say the flour price increased due to a Rs 4 increase in the wheat price. They said that now the wheat price has reached Rs 48 per kg.

Similarly, the prices of flour have been increased by Rs8 per kg in Hyderabad and Rs7 in Sukkur.
