Dr. Zafar Mirza Tests Positive for COVID-19
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on National Health Services Dr Zafar Mirza has tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday
The special assistant has quarantined himself at his residence after experiencing mild symptoms of the virus.
The SAPM took to Twitter and told that he has isolated himself at home under medical advice and is taking all precautions. He said he has mild symptoms and requested all to keep him in prayers.
“Colleagues, keep up the good work! You are making a big difference & I am proud of you,” he added.
Last week, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi tested positive for the virus.
Previously, Former speaker of National Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Sardar Ayaz Sadiq also quarantined herself at his residence after contracting the virus on June 12.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Opposition leader Mian Shahbaz Sharif tested positive for Coronavirus on June 11.
