The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday extended the interim bail of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Opposition Leader, Shehbaz Sharif in assets beyond means case and money laundering till July 7.

According to details, a two-member bench presided by Justice Tariq Abbasi heard the plea.

During the proceedings, Shehbaz Sharif's lawyer informed the court that he still has shown symptoms of coronavirus and the second test of Shahbaz Sharif has not been done yet.

On which, the court remarked that when Shahbaz Sharif did not take the test, how can it be said that he is still a patient of Coronavirus.

The court then ordered Shehbaz Sharif to get tested for coronavirus from Institute of Public Health on July 2. The court also instructed the director of the institute to submit report of opposition leader’s coronavirus test in the court.

The court extended the interm bail of the PML-N president till July 7.
