Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid has expressed his resolve to make railways a profitable institution. He said completion of ML-1 is mission of his life.

Addressing a press conference in Lahore today, he said that 1885 kilometers long new track will be laid from Peshawar to Karachi.

He said that revenue of Pakistan Railways has increased as compared to previous year.

Railways Minister said that government is giving nine trains to private sector and anyone from private sector will run their trains without any remuneration.
