Govt raises EOBI old-age pension by 62pc
The federal government on Thursday has raised the EOBI old-age pension by 62% from Rs.5250 to Rs.8500 within a year.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Government has increased the EOBI old-age pension by 62%, Premier took to Twitter and wrote “This helps us provide pensioners’ security in their post-retirement yrs. Much of this contribution comes from improving the Institution itself. Another step towards Madina Ki Riyasat.”

Earlier, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fridous Ashiq Awan says that an increase in the pension was a “manifestation of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s concern for the poor and downtrodden segments”.
